What will you be doing on this coming Sunday, July 22nd? I must really love makeup because I’m skipping sleeping in on Sunday so that I can get up early and haul my cookies across the Golden Gate Bridge to attend the launch of The American Beauty Tour in San Francisco.

This two-hour seminar at the W Hotel in S.F. will feature pro-techniques and tips from celebrity makeup artist Billy B. He’s worked in the makeup industry for over twenty years and his clients include Beyonce, Pink, Mary J. Blige and The Dixie Chicks.

Set your alarm clocks, ya’ll! Tomorrow is the Half Yearly Sale for Women & Children at Nordstrom in Corte Madera. This is a great time to get shoes on sale. Last year I was lucky enough to buy the last pair of wedge heel black suede Via Spiga shoes on sale. YES.

The sale starts at 7:00 a.m. (wowza!).

I like to wear flip flops so I can easily try shoes I pull from the sale rack. And remember: women (plus) shoe sale (equals) mayhem so don’t be ashamed about elbowing the b*tches who try to get up in your grill. You better snatch those sandals before the next woman does, girl!
