DAILY BEAUTY: Summer Channels Spring in Chanel Les Delices De Chanel

June 25th, 2013 by Karen 25 Comments

Chanel Les Delices de Chanel Collection

Chanel Les Delices de Chanel Collection 2

Chanel’s got a gorgeous new collection out called Les Delices de Chanel, with colors Coco characterizes as spring-inspired.

The release includes eight limited edition pieces for cheeks, lips and eyes in soft neutrals, pinks, aquas and violets.

The collection includes…

  • Joues Contraste Blush in 78 Delice (limited edition), $43
  • Ombres Fleuries Quadra Eye Shadow (limited edition), $60
  • Illusion D’Ombre in 90 Convoitise (limited edition), $36
  • Stylo Yeux Waterproof 77 Purple Berry (limited edition), $30
  • Rouge Coco Shine in 75 Melba (limited edition), $32.50
  • Rouge Coco Shine in 76 Gourmandise (limited edition), $32.50
  • Aqualumiere Gloss in 83 French Toffee (limited edition), $27
  • Aqualumiere Gloss in 82 Friandise (limited edition), $27

I’m SUPER STOKED about the two new Aqualumieres!

I was heartbroken when Chanel discontinued the line, and I’m still kicking myself for not buying backups of Candy Glow.

I couldn’t wait to try it so I wore it last night with my pajamas, haha! It’s very light and natural.

I’ll take any excuse to sneak in a little bit of beauty. Do you ever wear perfume to bed? I do it all the time, LOL!

I’m very intrigued by the Aqualumieres, myself. Nothing like summer to trot out the shimmer and glitter. 🙂

And, you’ll laugh that I’m a dodo. I was scrolling down and saw a headline about making 4th of July outdoor wreaths and thought “hmmm, Karen is crafting. This is new and unexpected.” Then I realized it was just one of the banner ads and had to laugh.

      Hi Kim,

Oh, I love them! I can’t remember — did you ever pick up Candy Glow?

And LOL, I actually would love to get into crafting. It seems like fun! I just don’t have enough time or space. Tabs is keeping me busy these days. Are you a crafter? I bet you get to do some fun projects with the boys every once in a while for school.

No, but I’m still trying not to daydream about the Daydream Glossimer. 🙂

I’m not much of a crafter either. I don’t have much natural ability/creativity with it. You know how some people can grab a bunch of scraps and make something beautiful? Not me! It’s funny you say that about the boys’ projects – it’s usually easy to tell which kids are helped by their parents (but mine kind of look like they were done completely by 4th graders). HAHA!

I wish there was a referral box on Chanel’s site so you’d get commission Karen. Can’t tell you how many beauty items I bought because of you. Haha

I still haven’t gotten to Macy’s to spend my gift card at Chanel! I need to get on that, but between starting my new job and finals, I haven’t had time to even catch up on MBB!
