Don’t be Scurred! With the Right Brush, This Blush Is Fantastic: Chanel Le Blush Creme De Chanel in Fantastic

Fantastic! — Chanel Fantastic Le Blush Creme De Chanel ($38)

Bwah!

Oh, sorry… It’s just that this burgundy cream blush startled me in its pan.

But then I saw it on my cheeks and thought, “downright fantastic!” With the right brush (I like it with a flat-top duo fibre brush like the MAC 188) and a light touch, I think it’s fantastic, like the name implies.

Fantastic dries to a powder finish that I bet’ll look particularly fetching on darker skin tones.

It’s limited edition, so if you’re feeling the urge to get Fantastic, better stop by your favorite Chanel counter or point your browser toward chanel.com soon.

      Hey Lily,

I still think you could do this color. You’d need a fan brush and a REALLY light touch though.

Really pretty on your skin tone!

You know, for some reason .. Bloglovin won’t give me any of your blog feeds – so annoying. I’ve tried to un-subscribe and re-sub. Boo.

    Monica.

I’ve heard that from someone else too. They had mentioned that they found a link to feedblitz and then that sorted everything out. I haven’t had the chance to look, but I’ll get to it later tonight.

It was really easy, believe it or not! I used the new Guerlain Ecrin duo in Two Stylish. The blue on the outer and inner lid, slightly into the crease, and lower lash line. The silver in the center of the lid. Then, Terra Nerolia Bronzer in the crease to transition. 🙂

How is my Sherbie? Did you guys celebrate International Cat Day together?

LOL, I dunno…I have a lot to do before I leave on vacation next week, and for some reason, when I have a lot to do, I get more done. Go figure.

On my eyes is one of the new Guerlain Ecrin duos, Two Stylish! I have a post coming soon.

      How was your workout?

Ah! That color is amazing in the compact. One of my favorite colors. Not sure I could pull it off. I’m ridiculous with blush. I swear there’s a fine threshold between the cute pinched-cheek look and going overboard. I’m always like *swipe swipe swipe*… perfect!… *swipe* …aaaaand I’m a clown. lol I’m getting better though.

      Hi Amy,

You can do it! SERIOUSLY. Do you have a fan brush? They are so totally perfect for bright shades like this one.

I don’t! I should invest in one. I always see them at Ulta and Sephora and want to buy one just because they look so pretty.

It’ll show up really well on deeper skintones and it’s a really flattering colour. ^_^
