For me, it’s copper peptide. I just started using Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum, which I’m excited about because it’s supposed to work as an antioxidant and with collagen building.
How about you? What’s the newest ingredient in your skin care routine?

Argan Oil – there’s some in the Bless Balm from Leahlani I cleanse with on really dry days but no matter what my skin is doing breakoutwise, a few drops of Argan oil over the top of whatever else I’m using makes my skin feel like butter when I wake up and it clears up blemishes. (I get mine from Wilder Supply Company in Alaska)

My local Beauty Heroes store carries that line! I’ll have to go in and see if I can get a sample. My skin has been so dry lately and needs some TLC.
Have a great day, Brigid!

I hope you like it. I love their Glow and Clarity serums as well. Here’s the page to order the Argan Oil (and they do sell small samples which I don’t think all stores do).

I’m loving vitaminC for my under eyes. It’s really making a difference with my allergy shadows.

I use a cream prescribed by my dermatologist that has three rosacea medications in one – metronidazole, Azaleic acid, and Ivermectin. I think that’s the newest thing! It works really well.

I’ve used these ingredients separately, but now I’m trying a serum-in-cream that combines retinol with niacinamide. So we’ll see how that goes.
Karen says
Ooh, good luck! What’s it called?
Suzanne C says
IT Cosmetics Hello Results Wrinkle-Reducing Daily Retinol Serum-in-Cream. I was happy to find it in a cream, since I don’t like anything gel-ish. And it smells good!

Great minds think alike. I just bought a bottle of the Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum. I also bought the copper peptide serum from The Ordinary. So far I’m liking the Biossance one a bit more. There is something in The Ordinary version that makes my skin uncomfortable and stings a bit for the first 20 minutes I have it on my skin. I do have sensitive skin though.
Karen says
Don’t you love how the serum is blue? I find the color oddly thrilling. LOL.
I layer mine underneath Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream. Just got a new jar… AHHH!
Tatiana says
I haven’t tried the Squalane + Omega cream yet. I still have 4 or 5 different moisturizers hanging around, so I decided I’m not buying anything new until I finish off one or two of them.
The Ordinary Copper Peptide serum is even more intensely blue. It’s darker, bordering on navy.

I just got the Biossance copper peptide serum, and yup, I too am freakishly excited about the blue color. Also got their Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil. Smells lovely and luxurious. Let’s all trade notes on results.

Glycolic acid. Hardly new for others but first time I’ve tried it. I’m pregnant so had to try to find a replacement for my beloved salicylic acid.

I don’t know everything that they put in the Peach & Lily Glass skin products but OH. MY. GOD. Only five days later and I cannot believe my eyes! My pores have shrunk, my dynamic forehead lines have softened noticeably, and I have the best skin of my life at age 45. I bought the Glass Skin Discovery Kit for $39 at Ulta. It started just because I wanted a clean regimen and had heard good things about K-beauty. I’m pleasantly surprised that it works this much better.

I don’t have a new ingredient (it feels like I have tried them all), but a new device: My first ever LED Light Therapy Mask.
Not sure it makes a difference yet, but I need to give it more time.
