Nails, Meet Neely’s Lovely Sisters in the Zoya Lovely Spring 2013 Collection

February 26th, 2013 by Karen 14 Comments

Zoya Lovely Collection Swatches
The six-piece Zoya Lovely spring 2013 collection ($8 per bottle, or $48 for the six-piece set), available now in stores, salons and online

Pardon me as I swan dive from the top platform into a full-on pastel nails obsession…

SPLASH!

Sorry about that. I couldn’t resist because the pool is just so lovely — lovely as in the six-piece Zoya Lovely collection. 🙂 Remember creamy mint green Neely from last week? Yup, these are her Lovely (ba-dum bum) sisters.

It’s no secret that I have mad love for most of Zoya’s polishes and their medium-weight formula (neither too thick nor thin), which lasts for me at least five days sans any serious chipping, and that’s without a base or top coat.

I also like their brush. Super easy to work with because the bristles behave and don’t splay out all over the place like long alien fingers…

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I only own one Zoya polish that I got when I did Birchbox… these are gorgeous, and very opaque with only two coats (especially for pastels!) I might need to get a good everyday color.

I love Zoya polishes, and this is certainly a beautiful collection. But I wish they’d do something a little bit unique other than the usual pastel shades for Spring.

I ordered both Gei Gei and Julie from the new spring collection over the weekend, and really can’t wait to see how they look. I think the others might be a bit too light for my skin tone.
Have you tried the other leather finish nail polishes? Are they any good?? I’m contemplating getting one to try.

The pink and lilac colors are lovely. Hope Ulta will carry these colors.

Oh, these are adorable. And so Eastery. They make me want to eat pastel Jordan Almonds. And I’m not even a candy shell fan! 🙂

I’m getting old. I don’t see the allure in recreating Hard Candy’s original collection!

I ordered Julie and Gie Gie, I love pastels ! Zoya is a very good brand, polishes are soft for the nails and very long wearing ( compared to China Glaze which I find not so good, beautiful shades but they don’t wear long ), I also ordered Orly Torrid, well nail polishes really tend to eat my wallet 🙂

Thanks to your question on pastel nails in Monday’s poll, I’ve been dreaming of pale blue nail polish… These colors look amazing! And I love the shimmer, too!
