Dry Lips Will Love Le Metier de Beaute’s Drought Defying Hydra-Creme Lipsticks

I am so hungry right now…

Frickin’ PMS. It’s turned my tummy into a bottomless pit [INSERT RUMBLING TUMMY SOUND HERE]. Right now, I could easily eat an entire pizza, and a half, and then have dinner.

LOL! The only thing stopping me — well, I mean, the main thing — is makeup.

Surprise! 🙂 I’m wearing Le Metier de Beaute Hydra-Creme Lipstick tonight, and every time I smack my lips and mush them together while thinking about the aforementioned pizzas, with their gooey, cheesy goodness, yummy tomato sauce and crust (OH, THE CRUST!), I’m temporarily distracted by how great my lips feel, and momentarily forget about my hunger.

So, these Hydra-Cremes launched in the fall, but I didn’t truly appreciated them until recently, as a result of my lips being incredibly dry.

Ugh… Winter.

I haven’t been able to tolerate any lip products lately that aren’t highly moisturizing, and these are like reservoirs!

They slide across lips, leaving behind a lightweight layer of medium-coverage color with a soft shine.

Totally reminds me of the MAC Lustres but, like, hella fancy. No flavor or scent.

I’ve been alternating between a creamy deep rose called Grenadine and a shimmery pinkish peach called Butterfield 8 (both great names!), but I’m absolutely convinced that I need to try a few more of the 25 available shades (available now).

Cheers to moisturized lips! And pizza! 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

AGH! I love this new formula by LMdB. It might be my favorite one from 2013. Great picks of shades, Karen! I have the more nude ones and a red, but I’d love to pick up one of these rosy shades one of these days. So good. <3 I think you'd like the shade Signature! It's such a creamy matte.

I need this! The cold weather gives my lips dry patches which are so annoying!

I’ve had the same problem this winter. I have to wear lip balm under my lipstick to keep these lips comfy. I am so ready for Spring!

The packaging reminds me of Clinique Long last lipsticks. Love Grenadine on you!

I love Le Metier de Beaute–such an underrated brand! Both of these shades look absolutely beautiful on you. I’ve especially got my eye on Butterfield 8 (awesome name, as well!)

Butterfield is really pretty and natural on you! I need to find some moisturizing lippies and give my MAC ones a break. There’s not enough lip balm and prep+prime in the world to keep my lips from chapping during the winter. Ugh!

I’ve got Sahara and Cashmere in these and agree, they are really hydrating! I’d like to pick up a few more as well.
